Coping in Times of Change

This training will be run online via Zoom and it covers:

  • tips for working remotely
  • developing positive habits in difficult times and guidelines for overcoming negative habits
  • the importance of developing a routine
  • the importance of diet and exercise
  • suggestions on how to develop a good sleep routine and tips on how to overcome common sleep difficulties
  • how to maintain social contact in the present environment
  • the need to be active in getting accurate, regular health advice while also being active in filtering out unhelpful, negative information
  • how to develop and (and maintain) a realistically optimistic style
  • understanding your own typical reactions to distress and how to work towards managing those reactions
  • useful resources on-line

The webinar will be run by David Cherry, a Clinical and Forensic Psychologist who has been working for 40 years.  David has worked with many different organisations to help prepare their staff to cope in difficult working environments as well as in providing support for individuals and groups after difficult incidents
