Being able to effectively and efficiently prepare grant applications or tender submissions is important for any organisation that wants to access government or philanthropic opportunities for grants of cash or land, or fee-for-service projects. But it can also be a stressful and resource-hungry process.
This training will provide community housing organisations with an overview of how they can deliver successful grant or tender submissions. Importantly, it will illustrate the steps you can take to minimise the cost and workload of this process.
The ½ day workshop will be delivered online with copies of the presentation made available to participants at the conclusion of the session.
About the trainer:
Rachel Hornsby is the Director of Hornsby & Co. Rachel worked in local government and the community housing before establishing her consultancy. She has had extensive experience in preparing submissions to NSW and Victorian Government grant and tender opportunities. In her role in local government she has also been on the assessment panel for contract submissions. Rachel adopts a pragmatic approach to the delivery of grant writing and tender submissions and will draw on that experience in the delivery of this training.
