Come shape the Victorian social outcomes framework for community housing
Funded by the Lord Mayor’s Charitable Foundation and in collaboration with Think Impact, CHIA Vic is assisting the community housing sector to build their capacity to understand, identify and measure their social impact through facilitated workshops and a guided process for tenant engagement.
This workshop is your opportunity to shape the selection of outcomes and indicators to develop a framework that meets the needs of the sector and reflects the experience of tenants. In it we will go through the draft tenant wellbeing outcomes that have been developed based on interviews with community housing tenants and identify how they can be used by your organisations to inform your business and show the impact of providing housing for your tenants.
We need your input to ensure the outcomes are appropriate, and will contribute to community housing organisations’ understanding of the experiences and aspirations of their tenants.
We are seeking:
- Workers who have conducted interviews with tenants or have an understanding of their tenants’ journeys and can validate the outcomes and indicators selected
- Strategic thinkers from all levels of community housing organisations who can assist us in working through how the outcomes framework could inform or support business decision making by community housing organisations.
CHIA Vic will be holding a second workshop on 6 June which will focus on the indicators that could be used to measure tenant outcomes, as well as ways to visualise and interpret the data.
Ideally participants will be able to attend both workshops to guide the selection of outcomes in the first and indicators in the second.
