Social procurement information session 2 – social benefit suppliers
Whether you have social procurement requirements under the BHB or the Maintenance Stimulus program, or just make sure your future projects are best placed to, this session is for you. Social Benefit Suppliers include hundreds of Aboriginal owned businesses and social enterprises based in Victoria that are purpose built to support you in meeting your targets.
CHIA Vic has teamed up with ArcBlue to deliver this one-off information session as part of our series of social procurement information sessions. ArcBlue is a leading specialist procurement consultancy operating across Australia and the Asia Pacific with a mission to deliver positive change through procurement.
This interactive Information Session will provide an overview of Social Benefit Suppliers, including:
- The benefits they provide,
- Relevant categories,
- How to engage them directly or through supply chains,
- Some of the challenges they face,
- How to find them.
Plus presentations from a social enterprise and an Aboriginal business.
ArcBlue will be developing resources to assist members to work with Social Benefit Suppliers, starting with a preliminary list of social benefit suppliers relevant to CHIA Vic members.
